Staycation 2010

We had to cancel our beach trip this year due to Joseph's work van breaking down. We decided it was best not to stretch ourselves financially and used our vacation money to pay for the repairs. We all took it pretty well, we miss that we are not having a blast with our friends the Byrnes, but we've had a great time at home so far!
Saturday morning we were pretty bummed that we were not going to the beach and that our "vacation fund" was no more. We got up, went to Gainesville and checked the mail at Joseph's shop. To our surprise, well really no surprise because God always provides, there were two checks in the mail. They equaled almost enough to pay for the van repairs. Joseph and I both laughed and thanked God for always providing for our needs. As we tossed the idea of weather to still go on to the beach, we both felt that God wanted us to stay home. We're not bummed anymore, we are making the most of our Staycation 2010!

"But seek first His kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself..."
Matthew 6:33-34
