This Is My Life

This is how we ride... Sissy in the front, Faith in the back and Bubba by my side.  It gets better each time we do it.  Josiah is slowly learning to stay with me and not go crazy wild.  When I was pregnant I kept thinking about how our outings would go.  Joseph would joke and say "are you really going to go on outings by yourself with three kids?"  Well here you go!  This is me (minus my sister taking the picture) and this is how we roll.

Super Moon

Tonight the Moon passed by Earth at a distance of 356,577 kilometers (221,567 miles) – the closest pass in 18 years .  We took a few moments as we pulled up from dinner to sit and look at God's creation.  The girls were sleeping, but Josiah was in awe.  He kept saying "momma the moon looks awesome!"

My guys

Two Months

Mackenzie Faith is two months old!  She is a growing little girl and after checking her out yesterday, Dr. Elder gave her an A+.  She weighs 11 pounds 3 ounces and measured at 22 1/4 inches long!  I can not believe in two months she has almost doubled in weight.  We switched over to formula because she was not getting enough and now I know why...this girl is an eater!  She drinks six ounces every 3 1/2 to 4 hours.  She has outgrown her newborn clothes and is now wearing 3 months clothes.  I call her my little chunk something I know she will hate me for later.

Where's that smile?

Talking to mommy

Big brother loves his sweet sister.  He also loves to run around with no clothes on ha!!

Elisabeth is a natural momma.  She loves helping me.

Everyone was right when they said that the third child is the easiest.  Well bless them they have to be with two other siblings running around.  Miss Faith sleeps through anything and is rarely bothered by her brother and sister's "loudness." She has been sleeping through the night for a couple of weeks now and has fallen into a great daily routine.  Following in her sister's footsteps after her evening bottle I put her in the crib and she falls asleep on her own.

I am still in awe at the fact that I have three kids.  I thank God everyday for the privilege to be their mommy and to stay at home with them.  Yes there are crazy days and lately I feel like I have more of those, but in the end I am still thankful for all three of my babies.

Moments I Don't Want to Forget

Last night after dinner I told the kids they could stay up and wait on daddy.  Joseph had a job to go do after the morning service and then another one after the evening service, so the kids didn't get to spend much time with their daddy.  They both can not go to sleep without their special daddy time.  As a family we pray, brush teeth, take our vitamins and then it's off to bed.  But then daddy goes into their rooms and individually prays over them and has one on one time with them.  I am so thankful for Joseph and for the spiritual leader that he has become.

Back to my story...we were watching Dora waiting on Joseph and I was overwhelmed with emotions.  They were both getting along and telling me about their day.  I knew I had to get the camera out and take some pictures.  I couldn't take too many though, Josiah told me to put the camera down and talk to him ha!

So remember a couple of days ago when I wrote about Mary Elisabeth's injuries.  This is her toe.  I feel so bad for her.  She will not let me touch it and I'm praying her nail does not fall off.

Another boo boo

He's His Father's Son

So to tell you that Josiah loves baseball would not be enough to justify how much this kid LOVES baseball.  Josiah eats, sleeps, and breathes baseball and his daddy could not be more proud.  Joseph has got Josiah geared up for t-ball from a catching glove, helmet, baseball bag, bat, shoes, and batting gloves.  Uniforms were passed out today and Josiah immediately tried it on when we came home.  He didn't want to take it off, until we told him that he couldn't play next Saturday if his uniform was dirty ha! I have to keep reminding Joseph that it's just pre-ball.  He is going to get Josiah new pants because his uniform pants swallow him whole!

Mom and dad were in Jefferson for a wedding and came by to surprise Josiah.  He was so excited!  He wants everyone to come to his game next Saturday.  It's going to be a hoot!  A bunch of four year olds with short attention spans and an hour limit game...we will see how it goes!

*Side Note:  I was just corrected by Joseph that it's not a catching glove, but a ball glove...my bad..*
