Second Trimester, 13 Weeks!!!!!

Baby E is about the size of a peach. His/Her tiny bones are beginning to form in his/her arms and legs. Baby E may even be able to get his/her thumb in his/her mouth.

I'm feeling some what better. I kept telling Joseph last week that the first trimester wanted to end with a BANG! My it did! I was so sick last week; I dropped 5 pounds! I'm hoping the second trimester will bring more energy and take the nausea away!

This time around I feel that I am more aware of what my body is doing. Maybe because it's baby number three and I know the changes that are to come. As with the other two, I've enjoyed reading what baby is doing every week. It continues to remind me of what a powerful God we serve. Every detail about us is known before we are even formed!

Josiah: "Daddy, What's that?"

Joseph: "Buddy that's the clouds"

Josiah: "Who made the clouds?"

Joseph: "God did."

Josiah: "Daddy, I want to see God"

Joseph: "One day buddy"

Josiah: "So when I see God I can fly like an airplane!

This is one of my favorite pictures of the kids. They were actually posing together at the same time! They are my life!! I am so very thankful for them!

12 Weeks!

Baby E weighs as much as half an ounce now, and the crown-to-rump length is about two and a half inches (the size of a large plum). Baby E has more than doubled in size during the past three weeks. And that's just on the outside — there's plenty going on on the inside too. The fetal digestive system is beginning to flex its digestive muscle — literally — as it starts practicing contraction movements, a skill Baby E will need after birth to push food through the digestive tract. The pituitary gland at the base of the brain has started producing hormones. And the bone marrow is making white blood cells, which will one day help Baby E fight infections.

Easter Weekend

Easter weekend we headed out to Discover Mills.  My mom, dad and Tia Chela came to join us.  We shopped and went to Bass Pro to look at the fish.  It was so much fun and I enjoyed having dad come along.  After giving mom directions and her getting lost a couple of times we were finally able to guide her into the parking lot ha!  My sense for direction definitely comes from my mom :).

Sunday morning we woke up around 5 in the morning and gave their kids their baskets. They were in a pretty good mood, but still pretty sleepy.  We joined mom and dad at their church for Sunrise service and then went to Ryans for breakfast with the church.  It was a really good time of fellowship.  After breakfast we went to Airline for Easter service and then off to Nana and Papa's for lunch and easter egg hunting!
